Hello all. I work at Better Business Bureau Of Saskatchewan Inc. Primarily I update profiles. This course is helping me to improve my search skills. Well I will have to learn this Gif stuff and markdown and many other things. Until I do be warm, be safe, keep negative and fail all your tests.

@shandee-waldbauer @kari-waldbauer I know your business well! I suspect we've met somewhere along the way as I was diagnosed celiac 14 yrs ago and you were my saviour!! Without you I may hve starved to death. :)

P.S. How come videos never capture an attractive thumbnail??!!

I going through the content and just watched the email marking part. I was wondering if anyone could give me 3 or more platforms that do email or text marketing. I was thinking of doing a qr code to get people to sign up and then offer sales, give them first dibs on new product before it hits the shelf and tips.
If there is any feedback I would love to hear from you

Hi Jule, here a few examples…
Moosend - the platform I used when i first started collecting emails. It is inexpensive and simple to get started with. I don't think you can do text marketing with them.
ActiveCampaign - the platform I currently use. It can do text marketing.
MailChimp - one of the most popular platforms; but costs are increaseing and benefits are decreasing.

You POS may also tie to specific email marketing and text marketing tools. Check if that is a possibility.

I'm actually going to add a QR Code video as Chrome can do one for free and it is super easy!

I work in the marketing/communications/PR field and I'm looking forward to strengthening my online marketing skills with this course. I'm especially interested in the SEO side and learning the basic improvements that can be applied right away to website and online business listings. We are a community-based service agency that has provided support to women and families in the Saskatoon areas for over 90 years. We provide individual and group counselling, programming for youth, parenting education, support for victims for domestic violence and an Employee Assistance Program. I jumped ahead to watch the video "Branding for Local Business" with Daria Malin. I couldn't write fast enough. So many powerful concepts that go beyond just Google Ads. Awesome stuff.
